GCSE RESULTS DAY 2026

Students look ahead to a bright future after record GCSE success at Ormiston Brownhills Academy 

Year 11 students and staff at Brownhills Ormiston Academy are celebrating record GCSE results today, marking the culmination of years of hard work, commitment and determination.  

The school, which is on the Staffordshire-Walsall border and part of Ormiston Academies Trust, is celebrating the achievements of its students, who have shown resilience and ambition throughout their studies and are now preparing to take their next steps in education, training or employment.  

This year’s cohort have achieved the academy’s best results, particularly in English, maths, science, music and geography. Students have also continued to excel in French, sport, health and social care and hospitality and catering. 

The whole school community has come together today to mark the students’ achievements, hard work and dedication, as they look ahead to the next stage of their education.  

Among this year’s exceptional cohort, students Grace, Will, Kayla, Lacey, Becca and Brodie stand out for achieving an extraordinary number of grades 9-7, contributing significantly to the academy’s highest-ever number of top grades.
