Parent Survey Autumn 2023
Dear Parents/Carers,
As a school we strive to do the best for our students and therefore value any feedback you can give us with regards to how you feel about the education and pastoral care they receive here at Brownhills Ormiston Academy (BOA).
We would be grateful if you could take a few minutes to complete the questionnaire on google docs.

The questionnaire is comprised of a number of statements which you are asked whether you agree with. The scale of agreement goes from ‘strongly agree’ to ‘strongly disagree’, and if you’re not sure about how to respond to a statement, you can select ‘don’t know’.
If you have any additional comments, please use the space provided at the end of the questionnaire.
The results of the questionnaire will be viewed by the academy’s senior leadership team and will be used to support academy self-evaluation, what we are doing well and development work.
The questionnaire is not the forum to make a complaint about the academy. If you have a concern, you should speak to the academy about it, so it can be looked into. As the survey is anonymised, we cannot act, if we cannot identify.
The questionnaire is also not the place to record a safeguarding concern, as we cannot keep a child safe if we cannot identify. Information below will signpost to safeguarding support:
You can contact the academy’s designated safeguarding leads: Mrs Chaplin and Mr Shaw.
You can contact children’s social care if you are worried about the safety of a child:
Call Walsall MASH 0300 5552866.
If a child is in immediate danger, please call the police on 999.
You can call Childline on 0800 1111 or contact them online:
https://www.childline.org.uk/get-support/ if you have a concern about a child’s safety.
The questionnaire will close on Wednesday 20th December at 4pm.
Thank you for your time in completing this questionnaire.
Mrs A Lloyd
Principal
