MEDICAL MAVERICKS WORKSHOP - FANTASTIC CAREERS WORKSHOP FOR STUDENTS IN YEAR 7-10

Year 7–10 students had an incredible hands-on medical workshop, confidently launching themselves into activities like ECG recording, extracting blood, and even keyhole surgery.

A huge thank you to Trainee Dr Aqsa Ashfaq and Dietician Caitlin Whiteman for delivering such an inspiring session, showcasing a wide range of NHS careers, and recognising the fantastic ambitions our students have for their future careers.

Through these Medical Mavericks workshops, students have developed key work place skills such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and confidence when using real medical equipment.
