YEAR 7 SHINE IN PE, MATHS & ENGLISH – HARD WORK & DETERMINATION INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM

The Class of 2031 continued their brilliant start to life at Brownhills with their Personal Tutors this morning. They were introduced to ‘The Brownhills Way’ and began reading Percy Jackson & The Lightning Thief; the first book in their Read Aloud curriculum.

After that it was PE, Maths and English lessons with the students showing off everything they have learned from their wonderful primary schools. The students were competitive and respectful in equal measure in PE and the sporting atmosphere was exactly what we want at Brownhills. The classrooms were electric with ‘Turn & Talk’, ‘Mini Whiteboards’, ‘Choral Response’ and some fantastic writing from students. Incredible start!
