Labour Market Information

What is Labour Market Information (LMI)?
Labour Market Information tells you about the world of work. It covers what different jobs involve, what skills and qualifications you need, and what you might earn. It also shows how jobs are changing — which industries are growing, which are shrinking, and where new opportunities are likely to appear. Using LMI helps students and families make informed choices about subjects, courses, apprenticeships, and careers.

LMI on Unifrog
All our students have a Unifrog account. Its Careers Library has hundreds of career profiles, each explaining what the job involves, the skills needed, the routes into it, and both local and national labour market information. Parents and carers can create their own account at www.unifrog.org/parent.
